The calculators on this site are free to use. They are provided as they are, for information and engineering estimates, with no warranty that a result is correct or suitable for your purpose.

Results are estimates. They do not replace the governing code, class or flag requirements, or a check by a competent person. You are responsible for checking any result before you rely on it. This applies above all to anything that affects safety of life, ships, lifting operations, pressure systems or entry into enclosed spaces.

Standards and regulations change. Where a calculator follows a standard it names it, and you should confirm that the edition still applies to your case.
